Kanyana Wildlife

Last Updated: 14/08/2014

Kanyana Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre is a not-for-profit organisation committed to the protection and welfare of native wildlife.  It is run entirely by volunteers from the local community with the generous support of local businesses. To find out more about this wonderful organisation please visit their website.

Gooseberry Hill Primary School has been involved with Kanyana for many years. As part of our support, students from our senior classes volunteer each week to prepare food for the animals. As well as fostering a sense of community involvement, this provides students with a rare opportunity to get up close to some of our unique native wildlife.

Kanyana are currently looking for volunteers who want hands-on experience with special animals contact Kanyana on 08 9291 3900 or info@kanyanawildlife.org.au
